Comprehensive Assessment

Content Note

The comprehensive assessment serves as an important basis for departments to evaluate scholarships and honors. Department-specific details may vary. This page is compiled using the School of Computer Science and Technology, Class of 2022 comprehensive assessment standards (revised March 2023) as an example, for reference only.

Score Composition

The comprehensive assessment totals 100 points, composed of five parts:

Labor Quality (S5) 6 points

An additional deduction item S0 is compiled by the department and class based on daily management records.

Moral Quality (15 Points)

Moral score = Teacher evaluation (D1, 4 points) + Peer evaluation (D2, 4 points) + Moral scoring (D3, 7 points)

Part Description
Teacher Evaluation (D1) Counselors, class teachers, etc. rate on a scale of Excellent/Good/Average/Poor, scoring 4/3/2/1 points respectively
Peer Evaluation (D2) Youth University Study completion rate of 100% adds 2 points, 95% adds 1 point, 90% adds 0.5 points; class peer evaluation scores 2/1.5 points for top 30%/60% ranking, 1 point for the rest
Moral Scoring (D3) Base score of 2 points (4 points for returning veterans), 2.5 points for serving the collective, other bonus items (self-study, party/league activities, blood donation, etc.)

Academic Quality (65 Points)

Academic score = Academic performance (Z1) + Innovation and entrepreneurship score (Z2, capped at 6 points cumulative)

  • Academic performance: Primarily based on exam course grades
  • Innovation and entrepreneurship score: Scored according to the "Qingdao University Undergraduate Innovation and Entrepreneurship Practice Credit Scoring Standards." For details, see Innovation Practice Credits

Physical Quality (8 Points)

Physical score = Physical fitness test (T1, 4 points) + Campus health run (T2, 2 points) + Extracurricular physical activities (T3, 2 points)

  • T1/T2 data are provided by the School of Physical Education; health run scores are proportional to distance (e.g., running 30km out of a 60km requirement earns half credit)
  • Extracurricular physical activities: Department-level participation adds 0.2 points, university-level adds 0.2 points, award winners earn bonus points by level, capped at 2 points cumulative

Aesthetic Quality (6 Points)

Aesthetic score = Art practice (M1, 2 points) + Cultural practice (M2, 2 points) + Classic reading (M3, 2 points)

  • Department-level art/cultural practice: 0.5 points per participation, 1 point per award; university-level and above: 1 point per participation, 2 points per award, capped at 2 points cumulative
  • Classic reading: Completing 2 classic books per semester, submitting a reading reflection earns 1 point per piece, book club sharing earns 0.5 points per session, capped at 2 points cumulative

Labor Quality (6 Points)

Labor score = Daily labor (L1, 3 points) + Social practice (L2, 3 points)

Daily Labor (L1) Dormitory hygiene averages: 95+ points earns 2.5 points, 90–94 earns 2 points, 85–89 earns 1 point, 80–84 earns 0.5 points, below 80 earns 0 points; university-level or above commendations add 0.5 points per instance, capped at 3 points cumulative
Social Practice (L2) University/department-organized social practice: 0.5 points per participation; university-level commendation 2 points per instance, department-level 1 point per instance; volunteer activities: 0.2 points per hour, semester cap of 1 point

Deduction Item (S0)

Violations of dormitory management regulations resulting in criticism or adverse impact: 0.2 points per instance, 0.4 for the second instance, 0.8 for the third, doubling each time.

General Rules

  • Within the same semester, the same achievement (work, grade, project, deed, etc.) receiving awards at different levels is counted only at the highest score, with no cumulative scoring
  • All bonus items require submitting certificate copies; award certificates must bear the "Qingdao University" or department seal to be valid
  • Team projects: For those with ranked positions, the first-ranked person receives full points, others receive 1/2; for unranked team projects, all members receive full points
  • Fraud during the comprehensive assessment process results in a moral score of zero
  • Comprehensive scores are保留 to two decimal places
