Pickup Notice
During the start of school, the university will send special vehicles to welcome freshmen at the following locations (campus buses are marked with "Qingdao University Orientation Pickup", with senior students wearing work badges):
- Qingdao Railway Station
- Qingdao Railway Station North ( eight key trains arrive daily, all entering from the northeast direction in the afternoon; the university arranges afternoon pickup)
- Qingdao Long-Distance Bus Terminal
Beware of Fraud
At bus and railway stations, there may be individuals posing as orientation seniors. Once taken away, you may be forcibly taken to hotels for accommodation. If you encounter especially "enthusiastic" seniors, be sure to request identification and verify with your own seniors.
Train Ticket Discount: For your first train ticket to the university, you can enjoy student ticket discounts (75% off for high-speed rail) at the manual window with your admission notice. This discount is limited to one time and does not support online purchase.

Driving Routes from Stations to Campus
1. Qingdao Railway Station
To Fushan Campus: Take Bus 321, 316, or 320 and get off at Qingdao University Station or Qingdao University East Campus Station.
To Jinjialing Campus: - Take Bus 321 directly (most convenient, about 40 minutes) - Bus 307 to Fushan Hou Xiaoqu, transfer to Bus 629 to QDU Higher Vocational College - Bus 312/312 Express to Yinchuan East Road, transfer to Bus 629 - Bus 223 to Guoxin Stadium, transfer to Bus 629
Taxi: Regular taxi starting fare is 9 yuan (about 30 yuan to Fushan Campus, about 50 yuan to Jinjialing Campus).
2. Qingdao Railway Station North
To Jinjialing Campus: - Metro Line 3 to Wannianquan Road (Exit A), walk 150 meters to Nanzhuang Station, take Bus 313 to QDU Higher Vocational College - Or take Bus 606 from Nanzhuang Station to Qingdao No. 2 Middle School, walk to QDU Higher Vocational
To Fushan Campus: - Walk 250 meters to Railway Station North East Square, take Bus 24 or 325 to Inner Mongolia Road Long-Distance Station, transfer to Bus 227 to Qingdao University - Metro Line 3 to Wannianquan Road (Exit A), walk 150 meters to Nanzhuang, take Bus 102 to Qingdao University East Campus
3. Qingdao Long-Distance Bus Terminal
To Fushan Campus: Walk 400 meters to Wenzhou Road Bus Station, take Bus 227 to Qingdao University.
To Jinjialing Campus: Walk to Sifang Long-Distance Station, take Bus 126 to Fuxin Hospital, transfer to Bus 629 to QDU Higher Vocational College.
4. Sifang Long-Distance Station
To Fushan Campus: Take Bus 20, 221, 326, or 366 for one stop to Inner Mongolia Road Long-Distance Station, take Bus 227 Loop Line to Qingdao University.
To Jinjialing Campus: Cross the overpass, take Bus 126 to Liaoning Road East Station, transfer to Bus 313 to the terminal.
Taxi to Fushan Campus is about 20 yuan.
5. Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport
The former Liuting Airport has ceased operations; all flights have been transferred to Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport (farther from the city center).
To Jinjialing Campus: Take airport bus to Convention and Exhibition Center, then taxi to campus.
To Fushan Campus: - Airport bus to Broadcasting and Television Building, take Bus 11, 226, or 301 to Qingdao University - Airport bus to Fushan Suo, take Bus 316, 321, 31, or 125 to Qingdao University
Taxi: From Jiaodong Airport to campus is expensive (about 100-150 yuan); airport bus is recommended.
6. Parent Drop-off
Parents driving students please note that Qingdao has many one-way street settings, which can easily cause confusion or penalty points.
- After exiting the Qingyin Expressway, to go to Jinjialing Campus, directly turn left at Liaoyang East Road, go east to Songling Road and turn right, then go straight south.
- To go to Fushan Campus, exit the expressway and go west to Shenzhen Road, turn south, go straight to Hong Kong East Road, then turn right and go straight (west).
Parent Parking: On registration day, parents are not allowed to drive into the university (high traffic, no parking spaces, easy congestion); park in nearby off-campus parking lots.
Parent Accommodation: Use Alipay, Meituan, or similar apps to search for nearby hotels.
Transportation Between Two Campuses
Bus 321 provides direct service, taking about 40 minutes, and is the main bus line connecting Jinjialing and Fushan Campuses.
On-Campus Shuttle Bus
The university provides shuttle buses between the two campuses (inter-campus buses) for cross-campus classes and errands. Below is the bus information published by the Logistics Management Office (summer/winter departure times differ):

Inter-campus Bus Tips
The inter-campus bus mainly serves cross-campus classes and commuting. Schedule changes are subject to university logistics notices. Additionally, the university has shuttle buses from various city directions to both campuses (Guangrao Road, No. 17 Middle School, Yichun Road, Lijin Road, Beiling, Zhongshan Road, Hushan, etc.), mostly used by faculty and staff; students can also pay attention if in a hurry.
Outing
Fushan Campus
Taidong Night Market/Snack Street: Recommend visiting Taidong night market; Bus 11, 104, 110, 125, 226, or 301 can take you there (about 30-40 minutes). Bus 104 or 125 is recommended as they are less crowded.
Nearby Shopping Malls: - Maikailé: Dining average about 100 yuan per person, cheaper options like Grandma's Perch about 60 yuan per person. Hot pot recommends "Wei Shu Wu" and "Left Hemp Right Spicy". - JASCO, Ocean Plaza, MixC, Carrefour - Golden Street Shopping Plaza, Wanda CBD (near Yanji Road, there is good shaved ice)
Parks/Attractions: May Fourth Square, Olympic Sailing Center, Badaguan (highly recommended, beautiful scenery), Lu Xun Park, Zhongshan Park, Signal Mountain (excellent view overlooking Qingdao)
Cinemas: MixC CGV Xingjuhui, Huacheng Cinema, Broadway Cinema, Maikailé 8th floor, Wanda CBD
KTV: K姿, Grammy (multiple branches)
Jinjialing Campus
Lida Shopping Center: Reachable by Bus 606 or 375. Offers steak buffet (Wojia Steak), Tangxiang Hot Pot Buffet (2-hour limit), Burger King, etc. Da Muzhi Square: Qianhaiyan (good taste but crowded), Hai Dangjia, Xiaoqiao Tofu, Shugu Grilled Fish (40-100 yuan per person), Mazhazi Barbecue. Has Space 8 Degree KTV. Jinshi Plaza: SFC United International Cinemas Licun: Direct Bus 606 from East Campus.
Attractions: Shilaoren Beach (beware of people in cartoon costumes dragging you for photos to scam money), Convention and Exhibition Center, Qingdao Grand Theatre, Qingdao Museum
Cinemas: Huacheng International Cinema, Jinshi Plaza SFC United, Zhongying International Cinema (price: Huacheng < Zhongying < SFC)
KTV: Da Muzhi Square Space 8 Degree, Grammy (afternoon singing 20 yuan for 4 hours)

Beach Barbecue
Take a bus to Liuqinghe for beach barbecue and open-air camping. There is a beach barbecue run by seniors from QDU's School of Business; negotiable prices, many game options, suitable for class or department gatherings.
Travel Tips
- Bus Payment: Search "Qindaotong" electronic card in Alipay, or use phone NFC bus card.
- Metro: Qingdao Metro has opened multiple lines; download the "Qingdao Metro" APP on your phone to ride.
- Shared Transportation: No shared bikes on campus; Jinjialing Campus has many steps and slopes; bicycles/electric vehicles are not recommended.
- Weekend Travel: You can leave campus freely when there are no classes, but pay attention to dormitory curfew (generally must return before 11:30 PM).
- Taxis: Regular taxi starting fare 9 yuan, black premium taxi starting fare 12 yuan.
