Campus Arrangement
From freshman to senior year, all live at Fushan Campus
I, this old thing, only found out today that everyone now only needs to live at Fushan, no need to move from Jinjialing to Fushan anymore. It's truly the end of an era (I worked hard to write so much, didn't want to delete it, so I crossed it out with a line hehe)

Study and Competition Advice
Study
- It's best not to fail courses! It's okay not to study hard; 60 points is great!
- Each subject's grade is divided into regular scores and final exam scores, with varying weights for each subject. Some are 50-50, some are 40-60. The teacher will tell you the weight distribution in the first class.
- The school has now set a threshold for exam courses, which is 50 points on the final exam paper. This means if you score below 50 on the final, you directly fail.
- If you unfortunately fail, don't feel like the sky is falling. This is just a minor failure. There is still a free make-up exam opportunity at the beginning of next semester, but this make-up exam only has paper scores, no regular scores. You need to study hard during the holidays. If you fail again, it's called a major failure, and you can only retake the course next year (for example, if you fail a freshman first semester course, you can only retake it with the new freshmen in sophomore first semester).
Competitions
Participating in competitions is quite good; appropriate participation can make your university life less boring and more fulfilling. Some competitions have prize money and can even be "government-funded travel" (not all!)
The college currently has three main competition associations:
- Robot Association: Learning STM32, 51 microcontrollers, etc., mainly researching smart cars and other physical objects, such as autonomous pathfinding fire-fighting cars, autonomous object retrieval cars, etc. Participating competitions include China Robot Competition, etc. For details, consult the association's person in charge. Recruitment is in freshman first semester.
- Innovation Practice Association: Learning SolidWorks, simple microcontroller knowledge, also making physical objects. Currently mainly focusing on the National College Students Mechanical Innovation Design Competition (in recent years it has been biased towards agricultural machinery direction). Consult the person in charge for details. Recruitment is also in freshman first semester.
- 3D Modeling Association: Learning SolidWorks, AutoCAD, competitions are skill-oriented
